As a lefthander I have always wondered about this question, that is: why are there so few lefthanders? OK, I haven’t been doing any research into this topic for quite a while, but I always have mused about this idea. Here are a couple links which take this idea a bit further…

As a means of foreshadowing a coming post, I wonder if the stigma of being a left hander in school will diminish as there is less and less focus upon specific handwriting skills (i.e. typewriting is pretty agnostic activity from the standpoint of whichever handed you are).
