The previous posts about Firefox, passwords, bookmarks, etc. certainly don’t cover everything you might need (or want) for your internet endeavors. These posts merely set the stage for this to begin. It is worthwhile to have a stable, secure platform to do anything online. With Firefox set up with the customizations that you want, a password manager, and an online bookmarks manager, you can now begin in doing things online.
First off, as with the last post, searching in the fundamental activity on the internet, but there are many more things you can do (and they are growing in number and influence every day). Besides just looking over and reading a collection of websites, there are ways to make this action more efficient (with the sites you frequent), to be able to watch (and make your own and up load) videos, the social networking pasts of the web (you know, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Instant Messaging applications, and video chat), there are TV shows and movies you can watch (and download), the same goes for music (in forms beyond just MP3’s…). How to upload and share your own movies, music, and photos with friends, and to make new friends… Most of these activities will work out well with a stable internet/PC platform (which you have been given some information about…).
So, the next series of posts will mostly focus on the things that you can do, versus the things you can have. Of course, of you are particularly interested in some specific aspects of any of the actions I have already detailed (or if you have one in mind I haven’t mentioned yet)please write me a comment with some suggestions!
