In business, college, and when teaching, presentation managers are useful (usually overused tools). I have been subjected to innumerable boring, time wasting Microsoft PowerPoint presentations for years. When I found out about Prezi a few years ago I was sold. The new addition of a free iPad app for Prezi now makes the iPad a worthwhile presentation tool (in my humble estimation…).
To best get a basic understanding of what Prezi is, and how different it is from all of the other static presentation managers out there, a video presentation is needed:
I could over the fact that Prezi allows you to make much more dynamic presentations (the video only gives you a hint…), or the fact that with this implementation on the iPad you can now use the iPad’s ease of interaction (i.e. tap, pinch and twist with your fingers) to some real advantage in creating presentations which may have some real punch.
Prezi’s iPad app lets you pinch and zoom your way through slick online presentations
