iOS 4.3

ios 4.3Part of the March madness regarding Apple and iOS gear in general has been the recent upgrade to iOS 4.3. The iPad 2 and iPhone 4 have been gathering up all of the headlines (not to mention the new MacBook Pro’s and Mac Air laptops…), so I guess that this major upgrade has slid into the background…

This may be justifiable in that for us PC users, about the only thing of real value is that you can now stream your iTunes playlists to your iOS devices. This works well, and to be honest I am quite happy with this new way to deal with my tunes…but…

As with cut and paste, this is an example of Apple presenting us with some pretty basic tools and services…as a new and important upgrade… I’m not angry, but I am a bit confused…

As with older versions of the iPhone and iPod Touch, I wonder what real lifetime of these devices…is. That pretty well covers my whining, related to the fact that my iPad 1is not an iPad 2…

In any case, the ability to ‘home share’ your iTunes is worth having, I have been using it for nearly a week now, here is a site which will show you how to get it set up (if you need the help…)
