HoneycombLast week I saw (online) some demos of the Android OS variant for Tablets (Honeycomb). For me I could almost see this as a holy grail, in that it looks like some of these new tablets may have more RAM and more CPU horsepower than the iPad (YES!!!). By holy grail, I mean a simple to use OS on a tablet in which I would be able to effectively get rid of a keyboard or good…yeah, I know, it’s a fantasy of mine…

 

 

 

All of this brings a few questions to mind, first off, I am curious as to how the impending honeycomb introduction will relate to the impending iPad 2. I have a suspicion that we may be looking into the year of the tablet, the iPad is still going strong, the iPad 2 (sic) will only increase the sales, and it certainly looks like the Motorola Xoom will be a very close rival. I may be looking at my next computer…
