About me:
This blog is mostly about education and learning, but I come to this from a bit different direction than many other edu-blogs I’ve seen. I have been: a soldier, a linguist, a student (on and off since the early 70’s!), I worked in the electronics/semiconductor business for over twenty years. I am currently an itinerant social studies teacher with interests in technology, history, teaching, and modern culture (in a broad sense).
About this blog:
This blog covers several relatively distinct areas that are in the sphere of my interests. Since I am a teacher, Education topics interest me. Since I am a social studies teacher, there are many more specific aspect of this specialty I want to investigate, I guess that this should be called work (since it is my chosen profession…) Secondly.I am quite interested in helping out (if only as a teacher…) many beginners on the world of computers and the internet, this category will be focused primarily on helping out senior citizens with this new world (this will be categorized as Tools). Then I have an area for some of my own projects, which might not fit very well into the previous categories.And finally I have a lot of thoughts, questions, ideas, and perspectives with which to ply you with…
